41 Antique French Ebony, Gold and Marble Display Pedestal/Plant Stand

Description of item for sale. This wood pedestal is from France and it dates to the early 1900's. The frame is oak wood that has been finished to a high gloss black color with gold inlay pinstriping. The top is carrera marble. The height makes it especially suitable for display of a larger piece of art, a plant or a flower arrangement.

It is finished on the front and sides. The back is unfinished and there are points where it can be attached to a wall for more stability. It is in very good antique condition with no damage of any significance.

The white marble top is somewhat stained (see photos) and there is just a bit of old, inactive woodworm in the bottoms of the feet. Dimensions : 41" tall, 21" wide and 17 deep (at the top).
