Unique and beautiful French antique multi chain bracelet in 18k gold with an oval slide holding the 4 chains together. The slide is set with three rose cut diamonds and outlined in pearls. It has a rich, buttery patina in antique yellow gold. It has a push button clasp on the back and a dainty safety chain. I have some oval pearl navette rings that this would look lovely with.

Antique piece from the Victorian period that I acquired in France. It is stamped on the latch with the French owl hallmark for 18k gold. It is about 7 1/2 inches around and opens to slide over a larger wrist, but I could not stretch it end to end with the safety chain of course. It weighs 9.2 grams. The slide is 15mm by 10mm and the rose cuts are about 2.5mm to 2.7mm each.

I have a 5 1/2 size wrist when I wrap a tape measure around it. This bracelet is a bit too larger for me where I can slide it off without opening it. I could probably make it work in a wrist stack but it would fit better for a larger wrist than mine. Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned with some age to them so they are in estate condition.

A few of the chain links are slightly irregular with some dings and slightly misshapen links. You should be able to see it in the pics, one of the chains on the far end has those irregular links to the side of the slide, where the chain seems lodged in the slide so that chain does not ruin through the slide like the other ones do. I almost wonder if it is intentionally fixed though so that the slide stays in place as it is perfectly centered and this way, it won't slide down to the underside latch area while wearing, instead it stays on top and in place. The other chains do slide through giving the piece a lovely movement on the wrist.

Nice coloring, shine and patina. Some surface wear and scratches but functions well. Please note that due to age, this piece is not in mint condition.
